Latvijasdzimtas.lv Terms of Use

These terms of use for the catalog of digitized historical sources Latvijasdzimtas.lv (hereinafter – the Terms) determine the procedure by which a user of the website latvijasdzimtas.lv (hereinafter – the User) is entitled to use Latvijasdzimtas.lv.

The administrator of Latvijasdzimtas.lv, either independently or through subcontractors, is SIA “RENIV”, reg. No. 40103241367. SIA "RENIV" also holds the rights to use the domain name latvijasdzimtas.lv.

The User is any natural person who uses Latvijasdzimtas.lv or its sections.

The Terms become binding on the User from the moment they access Latvijasdzimtas.lv using an electronic device, regardless of any further actions taken.

It is prohibited to copy, republish, modify, including translate, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use the content published on Latvijasdzimtas.lv without written permission from SIA "RENIV" (Latvijasdzimtas.lv).

The content of Latvijasdzimtas.lv is the property of SIA "RENIV" (editorial content, self-promotion), as well as third-party content – advertisements that are used on a legitimate basis and in agreement with SIA "RENIV" as an informational platform. Additionally, the editorial content of Latvijasdzimtas.lv may be derivative and compiled (e.g., information from news agencies and/or photographs).

Even if SIA "RENIV" grants permission for further use of its owned content under an agreement, it is mandatory to include a reference to Latvijasdzimtas.lv.

No authorization is required to use Latvijasdzimtas.lv.

In accordance with Clause 4 of the Terms, the User is responsible for any consequences caused to SIA "RENIV" and/or third parties if the User fails to comply with the Terms and/or the applicable legal requirements of the Republic of Latvia when using Latvijasdzimtas.lv.

Additional terms may apply to the use of certain sections and services of Latvijasdzimtas.lv, which in that case will take precedence over these Terms.

SIA "RENIV" has the unilateral right to change these Terms at any time at its discretion. These changes take effect from the moment they are published on Latvijasdzimtas.lv.
